some preemptive love for paddy ahead of the guaranteed bullshit/scumbaggery he’ll be subject to tomorrow at anfield — one of my favourite current united players, for his relentless heart, his leadership, his love for the club (& his equally strong love for park ji-sung). whatever the score he can hold his head high knowing he took a stand against something no one should have to experience in their lifetime, let alone on a football pitch. can’t think of anyone more worthy of leading the team out tomorrow.
